Well, we are still making our own baby food.  This month it was...

Fresh Blueberries

We also did carrots, sweet potatoes, green bean, broccoli and cauliflower.  For his fruits, we are adding Kiwi to mix this month!  So far Luke is loving it all - he has yet to refuse a food.  Hopefully he is not going to be a picky eater like his mommy!  And now I will leave you with Luke enjoying his Blueberries!

Luke and Thomas Meet

Mary Beth, Michael, and Thomas finally made there 1st trip to Mississippi.  This was the first time that Stephen has gotten to see his nephew and the first time Luke has gotten to meet his cousin - Thomas!  It was also the first time that Nanny & Pa (Stephen's grandparents) got to see them both together.  Nanny refused to let Pa hold one of them!

Since Grammy & Poppa (Stephen's parents) gave them their Easter buckets, we took pictures of the "boys" in their Easter outfits with their buckets!  Poor kids - they didn't know who to look at for the pictures!  There was about 9 adults yelling at them and trying to get them to smile at the many cameras!

Luke got to enough some good Aunt Tay (Mary Beth) time while some one else was keeping Thomas entertained.

 We enjoyed getting to visit with them and look forward to them moving home this summer!  I am sure there are lots of posts to come about these 2 getting into lots of trouble together!

9 Months Update (it's only 1 week late :))

Well, we have survived 9 months!  I can't believe it - time is moving very quickly and Luke is changing.  He is really on the move now.  He has his own version of crawling!  He is grabbing on things to pull himself up.  He loves standing up & holding onto the coffee table while we are eating supper.  (Yes, we eat supper in the living room on the coffee table.)

But, he has not really learned how to sit down or let go yet.  When he is standing and gets tired of it, he just screams until we come and sit him down.  Teeth update:  Still none!  Stephen says that he has decided to go through life gumming things :)

Luke had a great first Easter!  He got to attend his 1st Hunt at Brewer United Methodist church.

He was not to sure about putting the egg in the bucket.

He woke up at 3:30 on Easter Sunday morning and was ready to play!  Finally at 5:00 am he decided he would go back to sleep - just in time for me to have to get in the shower.

 

We had to leave the house at 6 to be at the Sunrise service in Booneville @ 7, Breakfast at the church @ 8, Sunday School @ 9 and then the Easter Contada (don't have a clue how to really spell that) at 10.  The poor ladies in the nursery had their hands full with Luke - he was not a happy boy - so tired!  They wanted to know what we did to "their" sweet boy?! But, when we got home, he was back to his happy self so we got some cute pictures.
